Your 9 Point Blogging Checklist.
* Maximize the "real estate" at the top of your blog this is the most valuable advertising space you own and you should look after it. My tip get a professional graphic artist to design you a professional header, banner and opt in form.
* Sign-up with an autoresponder If you dont have a lead capture form on your blog your missing out.Use your blog to build a list and then keep them informed about new blog posts.
* Don't hide your content in the background. Put your new blog posts on your home page thats where people look to see whats new.
* Make your blog personal it should reflect who you are both as a person and as a marketer.
* Don't use detailed forms keep it fast and simple. My recommendation is simply name and email.
* Write a strong "call to action" instruct people exactly what to do it's an easy way to get more leads.
* Increase your affiliate revenue by blogging about and demonstrating the products you promote
* Make your blog simple to navigate
* Make sure your testimonials, and other social proof elements are easily visible wherever possible, place them "above the fold" on the first page of your blog.
