Have you ever been in the middle of a project, or playing a game when all of a sudden your computer freezes up? No matter how hard you try to get your computer to come back to life the only thing you can do is manually hit the power button. This causes you to lose all the information that you had not saved before the computer freeze. This can be a giant pain which is why I thought I would help you out by giving you three ways to prevent the infamous computer freeze or blue screen of death in the future.

1. Upgrade Hardware - If your computer is constantly freezing up it may be because you are pushing your system to its limits. If you're an avid gamer, maybe it's time to upgrade your graphics card. If you work with graphic design, perhaps it's time to upgrade your system's RAM. These are affordable investments into your computer and can significantly boost the speed of your computer. If you're not comfortable changing the hardware in your computer then just find a local PC technician. You may have to sacrifice the use of your PC for a day or two but it will be well worth it.

2. Update Hardware Drivers - One common reason for computer freeze up is hardware malfunction. The best thing that you can do is run updates for all of your hardware devices so that you can be sure that all of your hardware devices are integrating correctly. Just go to the control panel and run the required updates. Not all hardware devices will need to be updated.

3. Invest in a Registry Cleaner - Every PC has a windows registry and it is estimated that every PC user has an average of 1,000 registry errors at any given time. This can make your computer very slow and cause it to freeze up. This situation is easily remedied though with the purchase of a registry cleaner like RegCure.
