I have been sitting and staring at the monitor all weekend and seriously not doing anything. I am burned out on building languages4free.com. BUT. My kids got a boxer dog last Thursday and over the weekend it has been pulling me on my long board so that I can surf the streets. The dog is doing great. Took the kids for rides on the longboard while the dog pulled us and they had a blast. Plus the dog got great workouts.
So anyways, I am get a lot compliments on languages4free.com and I just keep building. I started building the Newspaper - Peridico pages. I take headliners, sentences, phrases, words etc from the Spanish Newspaper and use the vocabulary to teach. I am hoping I will attract "Newspapers" for advertisers. But I also like it because it is pushing me to read the Newspaper. I watch Novellas (spanish soap operas) to keep up my listening skills and comprehension.
The StreetSpanish section or streetspanish.com is kind of like the same thing as the newspaper, but I write the Spanish that I hear from people on the streets when I am out and about. What is great, and you didn't know this, but about 6 -7 months ago I was able to purchase Spanish4free.com. Somehow, I don't know, but it was never available before that, and i did a search for the domain name and it said it was available.. So I bought it...That was an exciting day, because it was very unexpected.
I am going on Wednesday to do an hour or two of Italian voice overs. Then I am going to do a couple of hours of French voice overs and I did English voice overs two weeks ago. There is a lot of work ahead of me to clean up the audio, to name the audio files, to convert the audio files, individually space the audio files, create the videos with the audio, convert the videos, upload the videos, create the pages and the links on the website and few steps here and there that I didn't mention.
Well check out languages4free.com when you get a chance and let some of your friends know about it, because you never know who it is going to help learn and as you know it's a 100% Free website. I also made it so nobody has to give personal information to use it. I think that made a difference.
