Tinnitus is when someone hears abnormal noises inside the ear. The noise heard may come and go. But sometimes there is a continuous ringing in the ear and the sound is like a low roar or a high pitched ring. The ringing of ear can be heard in one ear or both ears.

A person with Meniere's disease is known to have tinnitus. However, one of the leading causes of tinnitus is the damage of the inner ear resulted to exposure of loud noises such as gun fire or occupational noise in which if it can be avoided then this can be the most important factor to prevent tinnitus. There are many other causes of tinnitus however such as old age, impacted ear wax which is rare, and some ear infections you might incur.

Once a person experiences hearing an abnormal ringing in the ear continuously, he may start having disturbance in his sleep. Due to lack of sleep, he may experience fatigue, deterioration in work performance, exhaustion and even irritability. These symptoms may cause the disturbance of the life of the entire family of the victim. He may be experiencing anxiety and depression and may start to avoid social life. He may have the inability to find pleasure and become sensitive to noises. The worst experience could be having palpitations, hypertension, and also hearing loss.

Usually, the person who has tinnitus is common to experience tinnitus dizziness, and this manifestation should not be taken for granted. If dizziness occurs regularly and even severely it may connote a serious problem. This condition may be due to sinusitis or hypertension and these manifestations cannot be taken for granted. It is significant that you consult with your doctor to find out any serious medical condition like hypertension. There may be times when the person experiences disequilibrium and it must be noted that the inner ear is responsible to maintaining the equilibrium.

Apart from tinnitus, vertigo and dizziness can be a sign of possible conditions. There might be a serious concern that can easily be remedied and much harder to live with However, if the tinnitus dizziness experienced is frequent and intense, it is very necessary to visit and consult the physician. The dizziness you feel may be only part of the tinnitus but it can also be something that will grow into something serious or something that is fatal.
