subject: Go Asia To Find Marvelous Free Online Movies [print this page]

If like me you watch movies online but it's hard to find a decent one on the Hollywood front, then take a Google trip to Asia and find a big new world of entertainment.

For a long time I've been really frustrated with the garbage being churned out by western movie studios, mostly from the USA. The over emphasis on technology, the violence, lack of storyline, overdone sex and overdose of special affects bores me. Western movies seemed to have taken a dive into the distasteful and mundane. Sometimes it took months before I found something I wanted to watch. It got so bad I started watching old movies that I had already seen.

Then I started searching the Asian movie scene and my life suddenly brightened. On the Asian movie and TV scene I found a wonderland of things to choose from, much of it better than Hollywood.

I'm not getting anything out of writing this article. I have no commercial connection. I'm simply letting movie lovers know of the vast potential on the Asian movie and TV scene. I particularly like the Japanese and Korean works but Chinese and Taiwanese are also available.

There are various websites to choose from. I mostly go to www.mysoju.com . Sometimes I also use www.dramacrazy.net. It's all legal and free.

My first venture was a TV series entitled Prosecutor Princess , a very enjoyable romantic comedy that totally amazed me and whetted my appetite for more. Since then I've watched lots of Asian movies covering comedy, drama and romance. My most recent was a very funny Japanese TV series called Hataraki Man. I still laugh when I think of it.

There's heaps of movies available and, of course, not all of them are exceptionally good. However you can always find something you like. The picture reception is always very good, as are the subitles.

The movies and storylines are somehow often more interesting than Western ones and provide useful messages about life, work and love.

If you really want to enjoy nice movies then Google to Asia and discover a new world of entertainment.
