While Marian Gaborik has been described as an older Vinny Prospal, he still has his spark. If ever there was a perfect complimentary opposite found in hockey, it would be located in New York.
Netting 44 goals last season, Gaborik finished among in amidst top players with total points. On the other end of the spectrum is Prospal, who is largely recognized as a pass-first center. He can usually be spotted in the midst of a scoring equation. Although he is aging, he hasn"t lost his touch and continues to be valuable to his team.
Henrik Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk
Henrik Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk have been regularly notices as the poster children of oft-potent offense. Though they have both seen better seasons, the thrill of having a worthy challenger within the division may spark the motivation this year.
