subject: Muhammad's Motivation was for one idea [print this page] The world has had its share of great personalities. But these were one-sided figures that were eminent in but one or two fields, such as religious thought or military leadership. The lives and teachings of these great personalities of the world are masked in the mist of time. There is so much gossip about the time and place of their birth, the mode and style of their life, the nature and the details of their teachings and the degree and measure of their success or failure that makes it impossible for humanity to reconstruct accurately the lives and teachings of these men.
The case is quite different for this man, the Prophet Muhammad who accomplished so much in such diverse fields of human thought and behavior in the fullest blaze of human history.
Although he died fourteen centuries ago; however, the life and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad have survived without the slightest loss, alteration or interpolation. They offer the same undying hope for treating mankind's many ills, which they did when he was alive. This is not a claim of Muhammad's followers but also the inevitable conclusion forced upon by a critical and unbiased history.
The least you could do as thinking and concerned human being is to stop for a little bit and ask yourself: Could these statements sounding so extraordinary and revolutionary be really true? And supposing they really are true and you did not know this man, the Prophet Muhammad or hear about him, isn't it time you responded to this great challenge and put in some effort to know him?
It will cost you nothing but it may prove to be the beginning of a completely new era in your life.
In short, the Prophet Muhammad was by far the most remarkable man that ever set foot on this earth. He was the best religious leader, the best friend, the best husband, the best father, the best social leader, the best military leader, the best enemy for the unbelievers, etc. He was all of these and more in one man!
The world has not hesitated to raise to divinity, individuals whose lives and missions have been lost in legend. Historically speaking, none of these legends achieved even a fraction of what the Prophet Muhammad accomplished. And all his motivation was for the single idea of uniting mankind for the worship of the Almighty Creator on the best regulations of ethical superiority without putting between the Almighty Creator any third partner. If you sin, ask the Creator directly to forgive you without the need of a third partner to confess unto him!
This is Muhammad in few words.
It is said that the man is the enemy of what he Ignorant about!
