Marine Electronics are very important when you are on a vessel. Some examples of electronics that you should have on a vessel include a GPS which is also,know as a Global trcking device. A GPS is a digital map that allows the user to map out a route to follow and it allows you to save a route so,you may find your way way home. Fishing finders are used to help you fish they track the fish and show you on a screen where they are. Lights help you see your way when the sun goes down and it becomes dark outside.There are three different kinds of lights,spot light, allow you to look at one spot in the water,flashlights are hand held lights that allow you to focus on one area in the water or on the vessel there are also,underwater lights these lights are used when you go deep sea diving,they light your way through the dark water at nighttime. A radio transmitter helps you keep in touch with others either on the vessel or on land. The transmitter makes it possible for you to call for help in the case of an emergency. A Radio is an electronic used for listening to the weather,music and the news. A wind meter tells you how hard the wind is blowing and in which direction. A CB radio offers another way for you to call for help in the case of emergency. Having a camera allows you to take pictures of your trip or the fish you caught. Cameras come in two forms one is a regular camera for taking pictures during the day and the other camera is a night vision camera,this allows you to take pictures at night.There are also,waterproof cameras for taking pictures underwater. A Sonar also,know as an sound navigation and ranging device is used to send sound from underwater to the vessel which allows other vessels to find you. There are many more marine electronics that are very useful when planning a trip on a vessel.
