Basically, any of the Nutrisystem women's packages usuallyhave abase price of around$299. There are times when the company runs special clearances and discounts during certain holidays or seasons. And, they are very generous with coupons that can offer from $50 -$100 off or as much as 2 - 3 weeks of free food. Plus, you'll generally be offered free shipping and more discounts if you go with the auto ship option. But there are also usually coupons for the month to month option also. Generally, the men's packages run about $30 more than the women's packages. And the coupons generally work in the same way.
If I had to pinpoint the cheapest or most inexpensive Nutrisystem program or package, that would be the Nutrisystem flex program. The reason that this option is cheaper is because you are buying less meals. Because the flex plan is theoretically a part time program (where you take two days each week off,) you'll be given less foods in your package. Still, this run is cheaper with a base price of around $230 for women and around $250 for men.
So yes, this is going to work out to cost less overall. But if you're figuring out the cost per meal, you'll generally pay less with a basic package using the best coupon you can find. The reason is that you'll generally be getting more food for around the same cost this way so in the long run, you are paying less. However, no matter which program you chose, ordering one of the packages generally works out to be much cheaper than trying to buy the food a la carte or individually.
