subject: Making A Good Market Value Of Your Website [print this page]

I have heard many people complaining that they do not earn enough money with your website online. He had hoped it would be obtaining more online sales or more money for programs like Google AdSense, after all of the online promotion that had been doing in recent months. In this article, I write about the big picture, long-term value of each site.

I have a lot of friends who are trying to make money through Internet. Most of these people have invested in a number of websites that are expecting them to earn a decent monthly income through AdSense. They have spent much time in trying to direct traffic to these sites by writing articles and other forms of web promotion. What I'm finding though is that they are expecting immediate results and have a lack of patience. In this time of year (summer), there are people much less willing to spend long periods on their computers due to the heat and the fact that many of them go away on their summer vacation. Adsense earnings are always likely to be reduced during these periods of these obvious reasons.

My friends do not seem to accept or understand this, however, and see all the hours spent on promoting their sites as a waste of your precious time. Another aspect that has greatly annoyed and frustrated many of my friends is the fact that they are seeing no movement on the page rank of their sites. In the last two Google updates page rank seems to have only updated the page rank of new sites, and my friends were waiting for all his hard work would be rewarded with an increase in the visible page of some of their sites. Again, this is a lack of patience and is very shortsighted. The backward linkages which have already obtained should have led to an increase in traffic to their sites and should not be so obsessed with this subject line of the page. Without doubt, in time Google updated the status of all sites and to stop promoting each site now would be foolish.

I also see each of my own websites as an investment. I of course love to be able to make money with them today, but I see as a long-term project. If I keep working hard and steadily increase traffic within a few years the search engine position of each of my sites should be much higher than today.

The portfolio of sites that I have, also have a market value. If I wanted, and probably could sell more work to put in each site to promote, the higher this value in the market should be.

In conclusion, if you are not making much money from your websites as you hoped, do not despair. Hard work usually pays off in life, see this as a long-term risk, be patient and your reward will soon arrive.
