Banner Ads are another way to promote your business or product and gain leads. You can put a banner on your Blog/site or other people's sites as well. I think this works best if you are giving away something for free or have a promotion where people can save money.
You can also run your own affiliate programme where people have to enter in their details into your web form to find out more information or join. It doesn't have to cost a fortune as a simple programme can be created and developed later when the members grow.
Now on to the free methods which I am sure will be a lot more popular with the audience of this article. Firstly I would like to mention Viral Marketing. This type of marketing is when you create something of value and gives you a chance to share your knowledge. You can make an ebook by writing something in word format and convert it to PDF. Share this with anyone you come across and include their link in the material as well but don't forget your details and links as the author of the masterpiece. When people like what they read they will go to your site to find out more information about you resulting in more leads.
Article Marketing is just a classic method to generate leads which I highly recommend to anyone whether you have money or not. If you do have money and no time you can out source the work or use articles with Private Label Rights and change some information to add your own knowledge and value. Write articles about anything to do with your specific niche. If you want people to buy your dog grooming product then give valuable information about dog grooming, or Internet Marketing. The subjects can be almost anything however the key is to provide valuable information to the extent where the reader is curious and you haven't given away your secrets! By doing so the reader will want to know the next steps and if you haven't provided them then they will probably visit your site.
The next method I will share with you is priceless but before I go any further be warned of the scamsters out there! Search Engine Optimisation is when you rank your website or blog onto major search engines such as Google, Yahoo etc so when someone searches for your chosen and targeted keyword your site should show on the first page. This takes time and there's no miracle way of ranking your site overnight as some companies may be telling you. You can also do this free of charge by spending time analysing your site tags and keywords.
A last free marketing lead generation method I would like to share is participating on forums online. Interact with people on forums about the category you are learning or promoting. There's forums for Music, Internet Marketing, Saving Money... whatever! Share knowledge, answer questions, ask questions, build a profile and a presence so that you are known as one of the leaders on these sites. If people feel that you have knowledge to share and something they can learn from then they will want to know more about how you can help them and automatically you will be given an authority role.
