subject: Is Numis Network Falling Apart? [print this page] Numis Network has become the darling of online network marketing over the past year. When top internet marketers like Cedrick Harris and David Wood joined the team, the inferno of excitement grew that much more.
Then it happened, last week the rumor began to circulate that a top leader and public face of the Numis Network opportunity was leaving for another opportunity. This news was accompanied by a tidal wave of videos, blog entries and nonstop conference calls. I found out about the turmoil through a barrage of emails to my inbox. When the dust began to settle, some were excited, others were scared and others were trying to pitch everyone on the new opportunity that a key leader was adding to his business line.
This raises the original question: Is the Numis Network business self-destructing?
I want to answer this from two directionsthe big picture and the personal application that comes from this series of events. Lets look at the big picture. Most network marketing businesses go through this cycle as a top leader decides to move another direction with their business and they invite their team to go with them. Rumors of problems, unresolved conflict and other such issues seem to ciruclate. The reality is that this is a business and a good leader is constantly looking for ways to build a stronger business. Sometimes this entails adding a piece to the overall business model and at other times it means letting a piece go. In the case of Numis, the leader in the middle of all of this speculation is simply choosing to redirect his focus on an additional business opportunity, creating yet another stream of income. On the other side of this coin is the truth that you are ultimately the one responsible for your network marketing business. Another key leader within Numis began a series of webinars and added an large number of people to his team over the past week. The bottom line is that he took responsibility for the health and well being of his MLM business.
This brings me to the real lesson of this whole series of events. At the end of the day, you are the one who is responsible for the health and profitability of your business. Although you may have joined your business because of great leader, you from that point on need to evaluate all of your business decisions through the filter of what is most appropriate for you. In the end, drawing back from the Numis Network opportunity will be the best business decision some distributors could have made. For others the decision to stay true to their original course with Numis will be the best business decision they could have made.
