Looking for opportunities to teach in Korea?

Many Koreans have gone to different countries just to learn English because in their own country, learning the language is expensive. The language is valued upon by the Koreans as this would give them the edge in working in most companies. With these in mind, a native speaker of the English language is in demand in the country as Koreans also value on getting the right speaking accent.

So why teach in Korea? The cost of living isn't all too expensive so you are able to save up on your earnings. The people are generally warm and hospitable and the students are pretty hard at work. While you're in a foreign country, why not enjoy the sights you never see in your own land? It would be easy to learn about the Koreans by being around the people and seeing the beautiful sceneries along the way.

For you to be able to teach English abroad, you would sometimes be required to have a TESL or TEFL certificate. This can give you a leverage against other applicants as these certify that you have the capability of handling the subject better than inexperienced job hunters. Most high schools, universities and language schools would require that you have these certificates. But if you're going to teach in private homes, it wouldn't be that much of a need.

Most foreigners love working at the country because everything is not as expensive as products in other neighboring Asian countries and also the salaries are much higher.
