subject: Good For What Ails You [print this page]

There are many methods of curing common aches and pains, everyone has their own path to the fountain of youth of some balm of Gilead. It is an individual quest and one profoundly personal. That is why one method doesn't work for every body. For some healing is found through acupuncture, for others yoga and meditation, for other herbs and natural foods, food supplements, vitamins, green algae, Tahitian Noni juice, traditional medicine, other put their faith in Chiropractic of New York City. Each has something to offer, each is healed according to their faith in the procedure.

For serious diseases and illness, most would concur that traditional medicine has the answers but for the daily aches and pains associated with stomach problems, digestive upsets, colds, fevers, muscle and tendon aches the road is wide and the paths are many. I have people I know that swear that Tahini Noni Juice can cure basically every ailment known to man, maybe it can. It has approximately $200 million in research and the results are impressive. My aunt and uncle sold green algae and were equally convinced of its magical cures, so what is it that heals us? There of course scientific studies and properties that do offer cures and solutions to problems but our mind is the most powerful muscle in our body and with proper faith and believe healing can take on many forms.

Our neighbor has suffered from back pain for years, she would rather cut off her right arm than miss her NYC chiropractor appointment. She swears it is the only comfort she gets. Is it? Of course, the massages, therapy, alignments, heat and cold procedures help her back tremendously. A medical doctor might not concur, but that doesn't matter, what matters is that she if finding relief from her pain.

Healing is a highly personal thing with various paths, I have friends that swear you can eat your way to good health, I agree that eating from the earth will help your body that came from the earth out tremendously. One of the things I really like about Chiropractic in New York City is that they tend to view the body as a whole and not separate organs and systems. They look at diet, nutrition, exercice, mental wellness and the body as a whole to pin point the area of distress. This is how the body ought to be treated for healing, as a whole, because you really are what you eat. The path to your wellness is yours alone.
