In our time, there are many diseases and viruses that affect the human body. At the same time, there is a disease that affects our success, which is procrastination. Procrastination is the primary enemy of time management. There is no one that likes procrastination because it affects everyone's life.

What is procrastination

Procrastination is when you postpone doing a task or project until tomorrow or the day afterwards. You have to realize that when you procrastinate, you are accomplish nothing and your day is basically wasted.

I'm sure you know many people that spend 2 hours a day watching television instead of finishing the task and the work that they need to accomplish.

Are you a procrastinator?

To determine whether you are a procrastinator or not, ask yourself the following questions, which determine the seriousness of this disease called procrastination.

1. Am I one of the those people who always come up with excuses to postpone my work?

2. Do I do whatever it takes to accomplish your work and projects on time?

3. Do I delegate some of my work to others?

4. Do I feel sometimes that I do not care about accomplishing my work?

If you answered "yes" to most of these questions, then you have to realize that you are a procrastinator and need to work on overcoming procrastination.

Overcome procrastination

1. Set specific time to finish each task.

2. Tell yourself that you will not invent excuses or postpone the work that you wanted to finish for the day.

3. Ask yourself, what are the problems that could happen if I procrastinate? Make a list and write down the answers.

The best way to deal with the tasks that you tend to procrastinate is to always start working on them immediately. Always remember what Napoleon Hill says, "Procrastination is the bad habit of putting off until the day after tomorrow what should have been done the day before yesterday."
