There are advantages in being single.
There are advantages in being single.

When you're single, you can do whatever you want and no one can tell you otherwise. Too bad for those people with families because work doesn't end when they get home. Not to mention they have to watch TV shows they're not fond of because the rest of the family wants it.

That's why being single can be bliss and you can relax and do whatever you want.

There are disadvantages to being single especially when it comes to health.

Take for example, being single and being too focused on your career. This means spending a lot of time at work and possibly having no hours for fitness programs.

And because you don't have to worry about cooking for anyone or anyone's there to cook for you, you become a regular at local bars or restaurants or take out your favorite meals.

You can even munch away on potato chips and have some wine until your meal is ready.

When you share accommodation, lack of cooking skills and limited facilities can also prevent a healthy fitness program because you rely on take out and convenience food.

Is this starting to sound like your lifestyle?

To have a healthier lifestyle, there are several options you can do.

For starters, have at least one healthy meal a day. You can start off by having a healthy breakfast or choose a healthy lunch during your break at work.

Another good idea is adopting a physical lifestyle. There are other activities you can do in order to stay fit, so you don't have to worry about going to the gym all the time. You can do simple things like walking a few block from work, going for a brisk walk, or even go dancing with your friends. The simple changes in your life shouldn't be underestimated because they can significantly affect the quality of your life.

Keeping an alcohol diary is important if you want to see how many units you're drinking. Learning how much you actually drink may even surprise you. Steer clear from alcohol when you unwind after work and try to do some exercises instead.
