Just like certain areas of the world, the food found here won't be like anything you've ever had before. You can choose from local flavours, as well as Chinese and other foreign favourites as well.

If your hobby is birdwatching you will fall in love with this place because many endangered species habitat in the area. The birds remain safe to fly free and breed because of the law-protected bird sanctuaries.

The off-peak season which extends from May to October, is a time when things take on a quieter pace in Punta Gorda and many of the other places in Belize. Some people find this a better time to visit as there are many discounts on offer and less tourists around.
