There are important safety precautions that should be undertaken while recharging the batteries. These generally include the use of an apron and protective eyewear, as well as rubber gloves. You should also be careful not use any flammable products in the surrounding area, as the fumes created by the battery are highly explosive. The charging area should always be well ventilated and equipped with fire extinguisher kits and eyewash solutions.
