He is a mighty and strong God, whose power is matchless. He has got the ultimate power, which is the most significant power and no one else has got the ultimate power. His right Hand is glorious in power and it dashes the enemy into pieces.
God has got the power to save us, deliver us, protect us and provide for us. He has the whole world in His hands and He is exalted in His power. He rules the whole world by His power and everything on this planet is under Him. God is so powerful and mighty and no one can stand against Him.
We cannot imagine the power of the Almighty, yet He is so just and merciful that He does not destroy us. No wonder men everywhere fear Him for He is not impressed by the world's wisest men. When you trust the power of God, His peace keeps you from panic.
The bible tells us about a gale that threatened the boat carrying Jesus and His disciples on the Sea of Galilee. In a panic, the disciples called out to Jesus but He calmly rebuked the wind and the sea, and said "to the waves, "Quiet, be still". Then the wind died down and it was completely calm". Mark 4:39. Jesus then rebuked the disciples for their lack of faith. They had forgotten that the ONE who has the ultimate power was with them!
If you feel as if your life's circumstances are in a mighty storm, I encourage you to turn to our Almighty God who has authority over heaven and earth. Our Heavenly Father is always near and He will give you the strength to survive the storm until He ultimately calms it down. We serve an omnipotent God who works on behalf of those who trust in Him. He is the only One who is stronger than any evil one in this wicked world. Greater is His power than any other power and you shall not fear any evil because God Himself lives in you.
The Lord is our strong Tower and we hide in Him alone. We cannot function in our own power but with God's power, we have the victory. It is advisable not to measure God's unlimited power by our limited expectations. He is the ultimate KING over all and He is robed in majesty and strength. He is mightier than anyone or anything and holiness is forever the keynote of His reign. ALLELUIA!
Our God is the Lord and He is greater than all of our troubles. His mighty power will stay with us and He will renew our unfailing strength. God's acts of power and surpassing greatness are compared to none. The sovereign Lord comes with power and His recompense accompanies Him.
PRAYER OF SALVATION
