subject: New products to be shown by printer ink maker [print this page] New products are to be displayed by printer ink maker HP in the southern hemisphere.
In September, HP will showcase its Scitex LX800 at the Visual Impact Image Expo (VIIE) in Sydney, Wide Format Online reports.
The offering is described as HP's first industrial large-format signage printer that uses HP Latex Inks. It also has an environmental profile superior to solvent printing systems, according to the news source.
In addition, the firm will display its new HP Scitex flatbed printer, the HP Scitex FB500.
Those with an interest in printers, ink and other such products will be among those attending the VIIE event, which has a history tracing a number of years.
In 2005, those behind Visual Impact Trade Shows came to an agreement with Image Expo to combine their exhibitions to create a partnership for major events.
The celebration of all things related to printers, ink and other items provides a platform for firms and visitors to view market developments.
Commenting on the VIIE, director of HP Graphic Arts South Pacific Shane Lucas said it is a good opportunity to get up to speed with the latest developments.
He added: "Our focus is on helping customers to drive profits and to explore new markets.
"In Australia, I believe we have only scratched the surface in terms of the markets that are open to digital print and at this year's show we will have a range of solutions on display and experts on hand to discuss the opportunities for growth in this segment."
As well as HP, there will be other printer ink makers present at the VIIE keen to show off their latest offerings and to find out what competitors have been up to. Indeed, attending such events is crucial for firms so they can maintain their profile in the market place.
