With just about the entire world, purchasing a new windows 7 computer or upgrading to Windows 7, Microsoft has decided to bestow the public with last year's favourite windows 7 promotional pack. The exclusive family pack, which completely sold out last year, is back on the market if only for a brief while.

With over 90 million copies sold globally, Microsoft has made a hefty profit this year. Windows 7 has become fastest selling system yet and it looks like it success will continue to carry on. To celebrate with its custom Windows 7 first birthday, Microsoft has announced it is to bring back the exclusive family pack, which sold out faster than the speed of light last year. The family pack originally entered the market on October 22 2009 on Windows 7 arrival. It included three upgrade licenses for Windows XP or vista, which was a useful pack for a family who has more than one computer for a cost effective price of 150 dollars or around 97 in GBP.

Windows 7 has been most successful among those who have upgraded their systems. During this year's recession, customers have preferred to upgrade over buying a new laptop, as it is more cost effective and much easier to upgrade than it used to be. Windows 7 makes upgrading your operating system very easy even on laptops!

The Windows 7 family pack is to be available for once again, a brief period, from October the 3rd. Last year, it sold out in six weeks, so if you want to get your hands on one of these packs, visit a participating store or go online to the Microsoft store on the day or a few days after the launch. Order beforehand if possible as many last year were left disappointed and empty handed after the quick sell out of the family pack.

The exclusive three license pack will mainly be available in America, but supplies of the pack will also be distributed to parts of Europe and Australasia, including the U.K and Australia.
