subject: Naturally Eliminate Warts [print this page]

Understanding how to eliminate warts begins with becoming educated on what warts really are, specifically.

What are warts?

Warts are normally created by the Human Papilloma Virus also known to be HPV. HPV is a virus that infects the outer layer of the skin and causes the formation of benign growths (warts). Warts are normally skin colored and feel kind of rough when you touch them, but they can also be dark and possibly smooth. Warts are usually passed indirectly from one person to another without any kind of sign.

Once warts do happen they show up in places where the skin has been broken such as hands, feet, legs, knees and on the face. When your immune system is weaker is it easier to get warts. Most warts require some type of wart removal treatment to be eradicated from your skin. Now that we know a little about warts lets talk about how to get rid of them.

How To Get Rid Of Warts

These days there are a lot of options for getting rid of warts successfully. For smaller and less severe cases there are very simple treatments that can be effective and done in your own home. Some more serious wart outbreaks will require more extensive treatment and work on your part.

Below is a list of common personal wart removal options

Natural Oils

Natural oils products have turned into a popular wart removal due to the fact that they are all natural and do not harm the skin. Natural oils are very safe and are often highly effective for all wart types.

Adhesive Tape (Duct Tape)

The duct tape removal technique has tuned into another well known personal wart removal treatment. Wart suffers have said that by placing adhesive tape over the wart and leaving it for 7 days then removing the tape and opening the area to the air for 12 hours before reapplying more adhesive tape for another 7 days is an effective method.

Salicylic Acid

Salycilic acid wart removal products are also common and are typically accessible under plenty of various brand names at your local pharmacy. They usually come in liquid form that you apply to the wart. Salicylic can be harmful to certain areas of the body so caution should be used when trying this method.

There are also several medical wart removal treatments including Liquid Nitrogen, Laser Therapy and Surgical Removal but these methods require a financial burden on your part and still may not provide the results you are looking for.
