There are excellent ways to remember the complex notes and signature in the music and these are music flashcards. Normally music flashcards is played as a game where one person, who can be your friend or your teacher, would hold out a card with a note on it and you need to name the note. In this game the card might have a specific note length and you need to tell the name of the note or its length by seeing it. You can also make a stake in the card that is you can draw notes of five lines and then you need to say the name of the note or you can play it in your instrument.

These music flashcards are easily available in the internet and also can be homemade. Those of you who are learning any instrument can use these flashcards for practicing the notes regularly. Also there are other benefits of music flashcards. It helps the students to focus on one single topic at a time and gain expertise on that. Too much information is never given on one particular flashcard and therefore a student can easily master a subject.

If the student feels like he or she can go through the same information over and over again as they are represented in the music flashcards. He or she can use the information later on for reviewing purpose. There are many possible ways in which you can easily use the flashcards and learn the music lessons properly.

Another advantage of using the flashcards for learning music is that they involve you completely in the learning. Since these are mostly games you do not feel that you are actually "studying". The benefit of this active learning is that you retain almost 80% of the information while playing the game by doing mistakes and playing it over and over. This cannot happen in a classroom lecture. Also you get immediate feedbacks on the results which are never possible in a mundane classroom assessment.
