subject: Changing Room Cubicles And Their Uses [print this page]

In shops, changing room cubicles would provide the privacy to both genders to change their clothes. Some will be one open space per gender or some will have changing rooms with their own cubicles. There are various uses for these cubicles such as washrooms, showers, and toilets, fitting rooms, dressing rooms and more.

Beach fronts and public bathrooms usually have larger rooms for this purpose. These are usually just for the purposes of changing, so most often they do not have washing basins. These are often roofless as well.

Fitting rooms would be small cubicles that are enough space for one person and fitted mirrors. These would be located in stores, which sell clothing. When you go to do an activity and wish to store your personal items, you will find they will have locker rooms for this purpose.

For your security, they will operate by either coin or key. Cleansing stations were used before modern plumbing was introduced. This allowed one to clean either yourself or your clothes. Now it will be known as a laundromat.

Change room security has been known to be a problematic issue. Some companies are known to have cameras in their change or fitting rooms. One is advised not to remove your underwear for you may be watched. Various fitting and change room items are numbered and when leaving, they are rechecked. Most change rooms only have one entry way, this is used for entry and exit, to eliminate any illegal activities.

Over the years, Changing Room Cubicles have become more user-friendly, especially for families. This allows mothers to accompany a child into the room in order to assist with the child fitting the clothing. This means the rooms today are a lot more spacious than in days gone by. For convenience and in certain cases mobile change rooms could be needed and these are easy to set up and take down.
