Cultured marble and certain types of granite offer their own unique characteristics.
The plus side is that they are stronger than other types of stones, but they do lose their luster if not maintained. A mild cleaner and spray brush helps maintain the stones luster. Keeping the area wet helps avoid scratching. Never use sharp tools when working with stone to avoid scratching.

Stains
Other than regular cleaning, you may have to deal with certain stains.
Organic Stains:
Tea, coffee, and soft drinks are a common stain. A 20 percent peroxide solution on a soft cloth can work on these stains.
Oil Stains:
Butter, lotion, or hand cream can cause stains. Spread the surface with an absorbent fine powder like corn starch. After a few minutes, use a brush to remove the powder and reapply. Wait at least 24 hours. Use a non abrasive detergent to clean the surface. Rinse with warm water and wipe dry.
If this does not remove all the oil, you can try a solvent. Follow direction from solvent manufacture.
Rust Stains:
Caused by metal items such as a metal container in which plant is placed.
Be careful if you need rust stain remover to avoid etching.
Fruit juice and carbonated beverages will etch the stone if allowed to set. Always keep the area wet when cleaning. You may need professional polishing to remove etches.
