subject: Study Of New Testament Maps [print this page]

As you take on the study of the New Testament, your study of the different biblical books can probably be enhanced with New Testament Maps to help familiarize yourself with the events, where they occurred and what was happening around them. Many scholars are starting to question the events and miracles as told in the New Testament. These events were real and a continual study is important to keep them in mind.

Have you ever wondered about the miracles of Jesus and their relation to the other miracles? Unless you are a Bible scholar, you may not know. Where was the first miracle performed? Why did Jesus choose that time to begin to draw attention to him and his mission? The miracles of Jesus were done to show that he was the Son of God, and that he had a power beyond that of mortal man. Miracles cannot of themselves convert a person but they can testify of the divine powers that Jesus had. The miracles did not go against the laws of nature. They merely drew upon a knowledge of a higher law. Of course the greatest miracle was that of the atonement and the resurrection. Through this miracle, Jesus truly fulfilled his mission here on the earth.

How far is it from Galilee to Jerusalem? Jesus and his disciples walked this distance many times. Being able to put it in perspective to your own region would help get a better appreciation of what they went through on their journeys.

How many times did Jesus go to Jerusalem? What routes did he take to go to Jerusalem? When did he talk to the woman at Samaria and what happened before and after? All of these questions and more are available when you review the events of the Bible with a map and a guide to the Bible events.

It is important to get back to the Bible for your Bible study. Familiarizing yourself with the miracles will help to keep you immersed in what the Bible has to offer. There are many different Bible maps available for you to study, but one of these maps is very detailed as far as Christ's miracles.

This map has many different pictures of the different events in Christ's life. It also details the locations where they occurred. The 8 1/2 inch by 11 inch map also lists all of Jesus Christ's parables, miracles and events as told in the four gospels.
