Over recent years there has been an increase in the number of internet users and with that comes additional traffic through the likes of Google, MSN and Bing.

The additional users have been flooding to the search engines in order to find what they want to locate on the internet and Free Online Games has become one of the most searched for terms in the world.

Free Games have become very popular with games catering for all ages and genders and best of all offering their entertainment for no cost, something that benefits the niche significantly.

Due to the increased volume of searches within the search engines, webmasters have been quick to act in order to develop sites that are offering Free Games to visitors while offering advertising space to companies and individuals who are looking to target this industry in order to push their product or services and increase their sales.

Finding an online arcade site is very simple and with millions of sites to choose from, there is always a number of sites that offer the games that people strive to play during their free time.

A case study with one of my own sites shows that gamers tend to find free online games that they enjoy and then search for the games by name, with the majority of my visitors searching for a game called playing with fire 3, a flash version remake of the arcade classic Bomberman.

Free games are not going to disappear anytime soon either, with many large companies looking to promote their product and services through in-game advertising.
