DVD Ripper for Mac is meant to converting DVD files to AVI (DivX, XviD, Raw avi), DV (PAL-DV,NTSC-DV), MOV, MPEG-1, 2, 4, WMV, H.264, FLV, MKV, and import DVD to iMovie, Final Cut on Mac and other popular formats to be compatible with many devices like iPod, iPhone, Apple TV, PSP, Blackberry or 3G Phone.

Step by step using DVD Ripper for Mac.

Step 1. Download the latest version 4.1.2 of DVD Ripper.

Step 2. Add DVD files by clicking load DVD button on the top left.

Clip: you can select certain length of the video you want to convert

Edit: set the aspect ratio and apply special effect to your videos

Preview: preview the video in the left buttom and take some snapshots

Step 3. Set output format and save path.

Profile: choose the output format you want to convert

Destination: specity the save path you want to save the converted files

If you want to do some editing in the program, please have a look at the following steps.

A. clip

There are two ways available to select a certain length of the video you want to convert. You can set the start time and the end time. Alternatively you can specify the length by dragging the slide block.

B. edit

You can enter the precise value in Top,Buttom,left and right field or you can choose 16:9/4:3 in the zoom field, which helps you get rid of some black strips or parts you don't like.

Effect option enables you to apply special effect to your video.

Apply to all: apply the settings to all the converted files.
