subject: The Healthy Purpose of Living with the Sun by:Don von Bonn [print this page]

The first things that one should ask of the sun, what can you do for my health? To simply answer that question, without the Sun, life will cease to exist on our planet. In other words, it's an essential part of life. Essential meaning we can never survive without it.

Although the Sun does pose a threat if over exposed, and with out any doubt the sun's heat are just sometime too hot to handle, you can never take for granted the good effects it does provide, to your skin, in particular. Do you know that a sunlight exposure in small amounts protect our skins and provide other added benefits?

But the most noticeable gain to sunlight exposure is the increase of our Vitamin D level to a point where it strengthens the hormones that provide protection for our body.

Just to give a common and documented example of uneven sunlight exposure's negative effect, most skin cancer patients get infected either at the back or in their chest, part of the body that are normally limited from sunlight exposure. In this very good example, anyone would easily understand how important and vital, a well studied sunlight skin exposures can be for all humans. It may be the key in allowing our skins to last much longer that what they normally run.

Anything that is over will always be bad. But if you will study carefully all possible gains in terms of sunlight advantages, in no time, you will be seeing yourself loving the sun just as much as loving the heat every time it touches your skins.

For anything that's skin related that you don't want to guess on what would be the result if ever you would do something, It's highly recommended to consult your dermatologist or seek professional advise from your doctor. They would be the ones who'd know what's best and what's not for your skin health.

On a positive note, let's all be merry and happy, for we will live our lives exposing ourselves to sunlight for generations to come. Science has proven that the Sun will not shine forever and we should all be lucky to live our lives for the warmth it has provided each and everyone of us.
