You can arrive at there from Arusha, and it will take an hour's driving from the Kilimanjaro airport to get there. There are six different routes to the summit, and many demanding climbing routes. You may stay at many campsites, native huts, or accommodations available outside the park.

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park is settled in Tanzania which covers an area of 320 square kilometers. This small park lies at the foot of the western floor of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Almost 231 square kilometers of this beautiful park is covered by Lake Manyara which is an alkaline water lake. You will see a large flock of flamingos and other bird species such as ostrich, egrets, herons, pelicans etc. here in this alkaline water. Lake Manyara National Park is made up of forest, grasslands, woodland, and swamps. You will be delighted to know that the large population of elephants, tree-climbing lions and hippos can be observed here at a much closer range than in other parks. Moreover, you will come to view baboons here.
