Have you ever installed any proprietary software((means software that makes a large hole in your pocket if you want to use it..."LICENCED")) with its pre-cracked version or going straight are you using windows(xp,vista...) with pre-patched versions??? Then you are also the passive supporter(may be future crusaders) of "OPEN SOURCE" movement though at lesser degree...because you are challenging the technical moguls openly....bravo..ehh??
The aim of OPEN SOURCE is to provide technology to every person without penny(here paisa!!).......The Freedom from licensing that make us tech-slave......It provides your every needs:Operating System to Cloud servers.....LINUX is a crown-jewel of an opensource......operating system which is driving the world crazy now-a-days....even the IIT's have redefined their curriculum according to LINUX......may be they have smelled the change in wind of tech-world which other universities failed to....... as a computer student i suggest you to try out LINUX atleast once.......if u need any help or want to know about it....i'm just one floor away...remember:"LIFE OUTSIDE WINDOWS is more fascinating than u imagine"......and moreover its "free-of-cost".....and also "mukt" as u will be able to see the programming which has formed this masterpiece unlike windows(not a masterpiece..its a piece of..) and the tech world is also driving on an opensource world......latest news : Microsoft has joined hand with redhat to provide inter operabillity software to world.......
Remember,if u want to get excellence in techworld(or in any stream)...the most essential tool is to update your knowledge.....you wont be able to stand on your own if you do not have the latest knowledge about whats happening around you....in our Industry,the spark of OPEN SOURCE is begun,Microsoft to Infosys are adopting the opensource model...........now its upto you....If you want to start from now,start using linux as it is now become the essential tool to grab a good job.......and above all it is like a personal satisfaction to challenge the monopoly of corporate moguls........You have to trust in something your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever because believing will give you the confidence to follow your heart, even when it leads you off the wellworn path, and that will make all the difference.
