Even though it may seem like a no-brainer many entrepreneurs fail to apply this in their businesses.
With the best mlm leades using this technique you would think more people would listen up and use it too.. I don't think that most people who start a mlm business realize the importance of leading by example. People don't see that leading by example is even more applicable to mlm than other businesses,
Your downline will duplicate your efforts, not your words. In my experience they only do about half of what you do.
Let's see how this applies to mlm. Your work habit consists of 2 hours a day of marketing online to generate warm leads, 4 days a week. In your marketing efforts, you don't promote with video, because you're shy in front of the camera. Phone work takes up another three hours per week. You spend a total of about 10-12 hours working your business each week. You are doing the minimal work that your mentor taught you to do.
Now you sponsor Joe. Joe will follow your lead. You explain to Joe the benefits of incorporating video to get more business. Joe markets his website. There's no video marketing done despite your training efforts. All the best mlm leaders use video. You taught him that. Why didn't he listen? No matter how many times you explained it he would only follow your lead.
Also, don't forget Joe only puts in half the amount of effort you did. So Joe only puts in five or six hours per week, and he doesn't use video to maximize his marketing. Is it any wonder that he doesn't get the results you promised? Why are you suprised when he quits after a few weeks?
This is YOUR responsibility as a business leader. You must conquer fear and do whatever it takes if you want to have the best mlm business you can. If you want to quit something quit being one of the masses out there who are failing. The school system and your career have bred you to follow the herd.. Stop doing the minimal just to get by.
To become one of the best mlm leaders you must do this. If you're barely getting the least amount of work accomplished to meet the bar then what can you expect from your downline? That's right. They will only do half. This effort will not get them results. They will quit, and you will have no business.

Even though the best mlm leaders all teach this, it is all too often disregarded.
Entrepreneurs must learn to BE the example if they want to succeed in this industry. Give 100% and work at least twice as hard as you want your people to work. A side bonus of doing this is gaining credibility and respect from them. You'll become a leader. This principle will work in your current job also.
