First of all before you even buy your domain, you should always do your keyword research. This is the most important part of making a website.We need to look for a niche that has not been over run with to many high ranking sites or to many hits in search engine results.
When we choose our keywords for our website we need to think out of the box a little.We are saying do not go for high ranking niches or popular ones, but you need think of other phrases you can use instead. Let me show you an example.If We look at SEO as a keyword then we will see 126,000,000 results for that keyword, and on page one of Google you have theauthoritysites like Google, Wikipediaand other massive high ranking websites. So, in reality there is no way that you will be able to get on the first page of Google or other search engines for that word. We will have to look at other options or similar words that have seo in the phrase or name. Example, if we search we only get 20,500 results and noauthoritysites on the first page of Google.If you use this keyword/ key phrase you will have a good chance of getting your website on the first page of search engines.
Where we can estimate the price of the word
The next stage is to find out what words we need to add and how much the CPC [cost per click] are.To do this we need to look at what tools are available. I have come across Googles own key word tool .
We will take a look at Google's own adwords keyword tool, you can find this tool in general search it will be on the first page.I would advise you to sign up for a Google account to use the keyword tools because you will get more options.
Once you go on to the page of the tools, you will be asked for a security check to make sure that you are human.Once you are on the main page before you put in your words or phrases go to the right hand side of the screen and click the columns box.Then tick all the columns you want to show especially the Estimated Avg. CPC and competition.Then its time to add your keywords or key phrases at top left of page and click search.
This will then bring up all the latest search results for your keywords. It will show you global and local monthly searches.It will also show you the competition and the average CPC.Now we need to be looking at the right words for your site.You need to be looking for good keywords that have medium or low competition and have quite good monthly global and local search results and have a good CPC.This is not as easy as it seems so you will need totryvarious phrases and words in your niche to get the right ones.Once you have around 10 or so good words save then on notepad or xml to add to your website.There are other good tools you can use for similar effects like keyword spy or spyfu.
Things to remember when adding them
Once you have found the correct keywords for your niche,then buy a domain that has the keyword in it.When you make your website, add these words to your sites title description and pages also in your meta descriptions.
When writing new pages and posts on your new website please remember not to keyword stuff. It does not matter if you only use your word once in your pages and posts, you should remember LSI Latent Semantic Indexing which is basically related words or phrases to your main keyword in your niche.So when you write something new remember to add not only your main keyword but also add related words in the pages and posts.
