Universal Orlando keeps growing by adding the latest theme area of Hogsmead, where you can stroll the streets and go on the latest rides, all based on one of the most successful characters of all time. The guests can also take a tour of "Hogwarts Castle" and see some of the most famous locations from the series. The new rides include "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey", "Dragon Challenge" and "Flight of the Hippogriff".
There is also a great dining experience in the park at the "Three Broomsticks" restaurant, and many themed shops where you can find the perfect souvenir of your time at Universal Orlando! "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" is located within Universal's "Islands of Adventure" and officially opened to the public on June 18, 2010. It took over three years to build and the opening celebrations were attended by the author of the Harry Potter books, JK Rowling, as well as the cast and crew of the movies including Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint.
Universal's Islands of Adveture is also the home to many other rides, including the Hulk, Spiderman, and Jurassic Park. With the opening of the new theme park, "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" is sure to make Universal's "Islands of Adventure" one of the most visited of all the Orlando theme parks, as well as in the whole world!
