But is also having some disadvantage: the performance is not at a very good black level, the contrast is generally hovering around 500:1, pixel structure of projection screen can be clearly seen. Now small projector is using DLP technology.
DLP projector adopts reflective projection technology. It's used to improve the image gray level and the image signal, to make the image exquisite and stable. Especially when playing the motive video, there is no pixel structure, so the image is natural and the digital image is restored accurately. As for cost, most of the current DLP projector are designed by single-chip, so the reduction in color images is inferior than the rival LCD projectors.The color is lacking of brightness and vividness.
CRT projectors and CRT displays are using the similar technology. It has the advantage of long life, colorful images, good reducing capacity, with rich geometric distortion capability. Due to technical constraints, can not increase resolution and increase lumens, and CRT projector directly affect the brightness value, so far, its brightness value has remained below 300 lumens, with bulky and complicated operation, gradually has been eliminated.
