A company would be able to use a banner stand display in their office to create a center of attention for customers who are simply 'window shopping'. These banner stands could mean the difference between a sale and a customer who decides to keep going without making a purchase. Many of these large signs grab the attention of the shoppers and draw them towards that sale items. What the sign's say or the graphics are what keeps the customer at the display counter looking at the merchandise and asking the sales representative questions.

These signs are built to withstand mild winds if used outdoors, but most are made for indoor use. The frame is a sturdy aluminum construction that holds the pole for the banner. When the pole is extended, the banner can then be hung for easy displaying. A typical banner stand display could be set up by a single individual in approximately two minutes or less. This is ideal for a presentation to a large crowd at a store, in the mall or a trade show where people gather to hear a sales pitch and like to look at what an items has to offer on a large screen.

Many companies that manufacture the banner stands sell them with or without the graphics. Some of them will have a custom graphics department and will take a companies design and transpose it onto the banner material so that it fits perfectly. Some businesses would rather have a blank banner and use their own artwork. There are also banner stands that are made of black Velcro so that a company could use felt or other types of movable pieces to design and redesign their banner for different events.

Some of the banner stands will come with a nice padded carrying case so that when an individual takes down the banner and stand, they can slide it into the carrying case for easy storage or moving it to a vehicle. These carrying cases come with a long strap and depending on the size of the banner stand and graphic print; they are easily carried by one individual. The carrying bag and the banner stand together will not weigh that much so it could be handled by one person.
