In order to enhance young peoples interest for sport activities some countries provide granting programs. There are several major organizations in the United States that offer different Sports grants.

Let us consider some of these programs and their main objectives.

1.The first one is the Amateur Athletic Foundation. This organization functions in eight countries of California and provides many youth sports programs. The aim of the organization is to involve young people in different sport activities and to make sport an important part of their lives. The program provides grants for youth sport organizations.

2.Baseball Tomorrow Fund. The program provides sport programs, fields and equipment for young baseball teams in order to enhance young people to participate in this sport and to promote the growth of baseball in all states of the USA.

3.LA84 Foundation. This program functions in the eight countries of California: Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Santa Barbara and Ventura. However, the major support is given to Los Angeles where the 1984s Olympic Games were held. This organization preoccupies mainly with communities that are underserved by the traditional sport granting programs. Among them are ethnic minorities and communities of physically disabled people.

4.Responsible Sports Community Grants. This program provides funds to sport organization across the whole country.

5.Tony Hawk Foundation. The Tony Hawks Foundation provides funds, equipment and services through different charitable donations. The main emphasis is given to children associations in order to provide sport facilities for children such as public skateboard park and some other causes.

6.Women Win. It is the first in the world international fund for women involved in sport activities. It is aimed at supporting sport activities among women to enhance womens empowerment.
