subject: I Want My Husband Back – How to get him back, easily [print this page]

One of the main challenges that drives couples apart is communication. As humans we have a natural tendency to express our emotions (hurt, anger, disappointment) in the form of blame. It's all too easy to say things such as "you" need to be more affectionate or if "you" were not so lazy then maybe I'd act different. The problem with this approach is that pointing the figure with "you" did this or "you" didn't do that, only distracts from your core message. Moreover, the other party simply retaliates in the same manner, before you know it you're into a full scale argument and neither of you can recall what the original point of the argument was.

If your communication in your husband regularly descended into these sorts of arguments, the chances are that it has snowballed out of control and lead to the break up of the relationship. The problem with communicating emotions with "you" this and "you" that is that the blame feels one sided. Over time it breads anger and resentment and this filters into other areas of the relationship.

The good news is, this is reversible.

Begin by really understanding why your husband chose to walk away from the relationship.

Understand where you contributed to the relationship break up. Use some of your time apart to work on improving the aspects of your personality that contributed. Relationships are give and take, this step is part of your giving.

Know that it is possible to have your husband back, but you mustn't be needy. This is the most difficult but most important point
