subject: In Bible versus Quran: they dwell in desolate valleys, and in the rocks' holes [print this page]

In the Bible, the LORD God will whistle for flies and for bees; and He will act like a Barber or a Hair Dresser and He will use a Hired Razor!

Also, Isaiah 7:17-20 says that the Lord God will bring upon you and upon your people and upon your father's house such days as have not come since the day that Ephraim departed from Judahthe king of Assyria." was Judah the king of Assyria?

In the Noble Quran, Allah never ever whistles for flies or for bees; and He will never ever act like a Barber or a Hair Dresser and He will never ever use a Hired Razor! How come that the owner of all the worlds does not have a razor and He will hire one? Allah is extremely far beyond these things; He is not like us and anyone who says or believes in that will dwell in the Eternal fire in the Hereafter.

It is a very insulting sin to say that about the Almighty Creator; and such sin is unforgivable.

Verse 2:255 of the Noble Quran says:

Allah, there is no god, that is, there is none worthy of being worshipped in all existence, except Him, He is:

The Alive the Living,

The Eternal, the Self-existent Who has no beginning.

The Everlasting,

The Eternal Sustainer,

The One constantly engaged in the management of His creation.

It is said that Verse 2:255 of the Noble Quran is the greatest and the mightiest verse in the Quran.

Within it is Lord God's Greatest Name, Allah.

There is no god except Him, He is the Living, the Eternal Sustainer.

The Living, the Eternal Sustainer is the One who oversees everything pertaining to His creatures: their life spans, their actions, and their provision.

He is the One who requites goodness with goodness and misdeeds with forgiveness, but He requites hypocrisy, disbelief and innovation with punishment.

Whoever pronounces the saying: 'There is no god except Allah has made a pact with Him, so it is unlawful, after making a pact with Allah, to disobey Him in any of His commandments or prohibitions, in secret or in public, or to support His enemy, or to show enmity towards a friend of His.

The Bible

Isaiah 7:17-20 (English Standard Version)

17 The LORD will bring upon you and upon your people and upon your father's house such days as have not come since the day that Ephraim departed from Judahthe king of Assyria."

18In that day the LORD will whistle for the fly that is at the end of the streams of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.

19And they will all come and settle in the steep ravines, and in the clefts of the rocks, and on all the thorn bushes, and on all the pastures.

20In that day the Lord will shave with a razor that is hired beyond the Riverwith the king of Assyriathe head and the hair of the feet, and it will sweep away the beard also.

The Quran:

Verse 2:255 (Qarib's translation)

Allah, there is no god except he, the living, the everlasting. Neither dozing, nor sleep overtakes him. To him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. Who is he that shall intercede with him except by his permission! He knows what will be before their hands and what was behind them, and they do not comprehend anything of his knowledge except what he willed. His seat embraces the heavens and the earth, and the preserving of them does not weary Him. He is the High, the Great.

Back to my question to the smart and interested reader:

Are the Scholars truthful when they claim that the Quran quoted from the Bible?
