subject: A Quick Look At Horse Mats [print this page]

For an equestrian, it is always a good time to go horseback riding, but there are horse stalls to keep clean before the fun can begin. A good way to manage having more time to ride, is to keep each of the horse stalls equipped with horse mats that not only help keep them dry, but fight back fungus and disease.

Cleaning out the horse stalls is probably the least enjoyable experience for an equestrian, but with the help of easy to clean mats the job takes much less time. With the extra time you have more time to enjoy riding and just being with your favorite equine friend. There are plenty of reasons to go horseback riding.

Now it is time to groom the horses and get ready for a day of fun going riding, and the stalls are nice and clean. There is something about the harmony involved in galloping off into the wind as it blows the horses mane in your face. Off and down the hill to the neighbors where the rest of the saddle club is to meet.

A wonderful way for friends to have a great time together is to go horseback riding. As the anticipation rises and horses are being loaded up, you are glad you invested in mats for the horse trailer, it sure helps those horses keep their footing. Now everyone is loaded up and ready to go try out the new riding trail the group found.

Arriving at the intended destination, everyone unloads their horses and saddles up for the weekend ahead. There are many different types of saddles and bridles and the jingle of metal, be it spurs or bits, helps add to the atmosphere of what fun lies ahead. The other riders have an assortment of horse breeds, and each of them in different sizes.

In unison, the riders rein their mounts in the direction of the woods, and moments later they grab for leather as the horses spook at the dark opening to a cave. Everyone laughs and there are cheers and shouts as the horses settle down and get back on the trail.

There is no other aroma like those experienced in the forest of earthen smells, mixed with the fresh air coming in on a breeze, and a picnic table in the clearing invites the riders to stop and rest. Tying their horses to the hitch rail, and removing the food items from saddle bags, the club begins to start a fire in the cook pit. There are plenty of hamburgers to grill of the fire, and someone brought enough marshmallows for everyone to enjoy.

This park was chosen by the saddle club for the beautiful waterfall where the horses and riders can swim. The pool at the bottom of the falls is half the size of a baseball field, and after the meal is concluded the horses and riders head off for the water fun to be had at the falls. Everyone swimming, horse and rider holding onto manes, galloping in and out of the water thoroughly enjoying themselves.
