The director also said that the wrong way of holding pens or pencils, keeping too short distance between eyes and books when reading or writing and using eyes constantly for too long time are the three main causes of myopia in teenagers. Doing eye exercises is an effective way to keep eyes healthy, but nearly half of the teenagers investigated could not insist on the habit of doing eye exercises.
