The moped is by far less expensive than the scooter. You could easily save a couple of thousand dollars by purchasing a moped. Of course the moped is not going to be able too go the places that the scooter is. Scooters are usually ready for high way use, while mopeds have some models that may ride the open highways and some models that will not.
You could possibly expect to pay fewer than five thousand dollars for a moped and over 5 thousand dollars for a scooter.
Scooters and mopeds are so much a like yet completely in separate classes. The choice really comes down to personal preference and personal need. The choice is entirely up to you to decide which one you prefer scooters or mopeds.
