"Everything I always wanted to know, I learned online" we may hear you saying. In fact, most of what people learn today as adults, they find through an online search engine and various websites. Whether it's a stock tip or report, the weather, the best places to visit on vacation, or to live, or a discussion group or opinion board that educates us on everything from pets to astrology.

Discussion boards where we are able to share our thoughts and opinions on various topics online is the fastest growing segment of the internet. With good reason, too, considering that discussion boards are all about actual firsthand experience. And when it comes to topics like AAS use, supplements, training and nutrition, what better place to go than amid those who have gone before you and succeeded with what it is you want to do?

But are steroid boards the absolute best place to go for first class, accurate information? Well, you have to know what it is you're seeking. And you can't make a stranger's answers the be-all/ end-all of your decision making process for your own life.

In the case of AAS use, discussion boards are the best place to go because no one else is as much of an expert as a fellow user. That's because doctors know so little about anabolic steroids, and there are but a few actual experts out there. But here's one thing to consider: It has often been said that the quality of advice is more dependent upon the person interpreting the message than the messenger himself. What that means is, before you go surfing a bodybuilding/ steroid discussion board, you need to educate yourself a bit first too.

Sound funny? Not really. The good news is, there's literally thousands of posts to read on a daily basis, from authors of varying experience levels and varying levels of commitment and dedication. The bad news is, there are literally thousands of posts to read on a daily basis, all from authors of varying levels of experience and sincerity, so you have to be a good thinker before you go onto a board, or you'll tend to get lost in what you read. At the very least, know your own thought process and establish methods for sifting out what you need and don't. Sifting through copious amounts of information online can be more than just a challenge, it can be downright overwhelming!

Be careful of opinion type boards, where moderators rule and those who post are stifled. Also beware of boards that plant self-serving information. It's one thing if a supplement company puts up a board and doesn't use it to brainwash its devotees, and quite another when moderators, paid by the company, plant ideas about supplements that just happen to benefit that company. Find an unbiased board that allows everyone to roam freely and encourages you to express yourself seriously and honestly.

Other than that, surf a variety of boards to find the information you need.
