Considering the history and success of Sarcones bakery, Louis Sarcone, Jr. and his first cousin Anthony Bucci decided to open Sarcones Deli in 1997. In retrospect, this has turned out to be a remarkably good decision for Louis and Anthony. Sarcones Deli has been a shining star in Philadelphia, earning many accolades in its first 10 years of existence. It has become the perfect complement to its cornerstore, Sarcones Bakery.
NOT YOUR AVERAGE DELI
The storefront is literally only 50 feet from the bakery and two facilitates form a sort of one-stop-shopping for bread, pizza, sandwiches, deli meat and sides. Sarcones Deli is steeped in the same South Philadelphia neighborhood tradition as Sarcones Bakery drawing many patrons. It is always advised to call ahead to place your order, so that it will be waiting for you upon your arrival.
EXCITING NEW TIMES AHEAD
Acting on the overwhelming popularity that Sarcones Deli has generated over the years, Louis and Anthony decided to offer franchise opportunities to prospective investors of the Sarcones brand. The demand for the geographic distribution of their deli products was answered in early 2007 with the opening of two pilot locations in Cherry Hill, NJ. Both locations have enjoyed a great deal of success from the beginning. They have served as a model for future franchise units. In their tireless pursuit of the best quality offerings, Louis and Anthony are even currently in the process re-tooling one of the pilot locations for greater efficiencies and quality.
