Off late General Motors India is in top form thanks to its best seller Beat along with the Cruze and the Spark that are also selling very well in their segments. General Motors model Chevrolet Spark has been constantly registering impressive sales.
Mr. P. Balendran, Vice President, GM India said that General Motors was very excited by the continued overwhelming response to Chevrolet Beat, Spark and Cruze. He also added that with the introduction of best-in-segment cars from the 300 series, increase in customer outreach through distribution network, GMs unique value proposition like Chevrolet Cashless Ownership offer and companys promise to deliver quality and performance are the factors that have led to the impressive sales.
Also noteworthy is that the Chevrolet brand has completed seven years in the Indian market.
The company had to increase its production by beginning its second shifts at Halol and Talegaon plants. This has was done to meet the increased demand of the Beat, Cruze and the Spark.
