It is your responsibility not your doctors to cut back on food, eat more unprocessed food, eat more fruits and vegetable and to exercise more. 1. Look at how your cloths fit not at the scale. Remember you didn't wake up one morning and find yourself over weight or fat it took time and it's going to take time to lose fat. Life's a journey, not a destination, enjoy it!

2. Eating five or six small meals per day will also help to lose fat. When you eat your meals don't us a dinner plate us the next smaller one, it looks like you eating more (there is a diet company that advertises on TV that uses this trick), all their meals look big but it's really the plate that's small. If you eat all day you won't have the urge to eat so much because you won't be hungry at your next meal.

3. Eliminate (as much as possible) candy, sugar, and soda from your life and for sure diet sodas, if you must have chocolate have dark chocolate and instead of sugar use honey or stevia as a replacement. Everything you do will help you shed fat. Don't be so interested in losing weight as losing fat. Always remember muscle weights more than fat, and muscle is what burns fat.

4. No late night snacks, if you absolutely have to have something try having a small handful of almonds.

5. Avoid diets and micro-wave solutions that guarantee you'll lose weight, shed fat while you eat all you want and do nothing. Remember what your mom told you "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is".
