When you send links to your friends please write a comment into it, it is horrible to receive a message (link) were you don't read a little comment about the link you have received. If you don't fill like writing at least copy and paste a little piece of the content you are sending. Give thumbs a review, as you probably experienced it is horrible to view a page with a lot of thumbs and only some review. Try this if you are a bit lazy: highlight part of the article and click the review bubble in your stumble upon tool-bar and it will automatically put that text into your review box. If someboy adds you as friend, please do the same, is the base of a social network and it is important for your visibility, more friends you have more visible is what you do on it. Do not add a lot of friend and send them spam comment, in a social network this is one of the worst think you can do. And if think about, will you ever follow somebody that has 2000 friends but almost nobody is following him back? I believe not, so just don't do it, it's better for everyone. As every activity you do on the internet do it with consistency, if you are active on a daily basis even with just a few comment it is much better than be active one day and sending 100 comments and next week nothing. Remember, nobody likes this, and everybody Loves consistency. Do not stumble only pre-stumbled articles, the purpose of StumbleUpon is that you should be finding new articles, not recycling others. In StumbleUpon it's very important that you do not stumble only your own articles. First of all it can get you banned and it is not social at all, we are there to share and not only to promote ourselves. The last mistake that I'm going to tell you for today is: please put a picture in your profile! If you do not want to show your self, put one with sunglasses or a hat, but be a human not another grey spot. Have fun!
