The great production of THE RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR celebrates the 2010 holiday season with a coast-to-coast 'kick-off' at Scottsdale Fashion Square, Thursday, August 12th.The countrywide kick line is in support of the Garden of Dreams Foundation. The Radio City Rockettes will Kick'-off the 2010 Radio City Christmas Spectacular season in a simultaneous kick-line across the country in Scottsdale, New York, Los Angeles, Colorado Springs, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Fresno and Wichita.The New York event will feature four Radio City Rockettes, KEZ's Marty Manning as emcee and the youth and staff from HomeBase Youth Services at Scottsdale Fashion Square at Camelback and Scottsdale Roads, Lower Level Macy's Court. The Christmas in August festivities will kick off in New York City at 1:30 PM eastern and will carry on at the same time across the country in the other participating markets instantly following. Salt Lake City area residents are encouraged to join in the festivities at Noon at the Olympic Plaza Fountain at the Gateway Mall Plaza to "kick up their heels with this renowned dance company." Additionally, the first 100 kick-line participants will get one voucher for a select performance at the Maverik Center from November 26-29.
To give as many people the chance to participate as possible the Christmas Spectacular has extended their digital footprint by inviting fans internationally to join the kick-line, either in person or on-line,and kick for a cause.
