subject: Dell Streak to Froyo later this year, T-Mobile wants nothing to [print this page]

Two pieces of news for all of you Freaks there:

First You can breathe a sigh of relief, in accordance with Android Central , Dell has already confirmed that 5 inches hotness will actually get over-the-ether Android upgrade to 2.2 this year.

It will still run from Android 1.6, but you can feel safe knowing that the device is no longer in the ancient halls of oblivion.

But what is it? Dell has also confirmed that the affair will not work on T-Mobiles 3G network. Uh-oh. This is clearly bad news for T-Streak freaks in the audience.

Yes, unless youre the patient kind, that there is nothing looking out the train / bus / ferry / helicopter window for most of your morning commute, as the page loads and loads and loads and loads the EDGE connection, I would consider moving to another device / network.

If you are still happy(and probably should be), can be expected to be available before the page here and leave your contact details to be eligible for the cost of upgrading to 2 Business Day, and can also purchase a Bluetooth headset Plantronics only $0.99 when you buy the Streak.
