Search engines like Google and ask.com allow users to search for answers to any question. Even corporate America realizes the more information you know about a particular good or service, the more likely you are to buy. As a result, F.A.Q's (frequently asked questions) abound on sites globally.

When consumers purchase certain items like clothing, they typically look at the price tag, the materials the garment was made with and the type of care it requires. This information along with the price, generally determines whether or not a consumer will make a purchase. When it comes to relocating to another community, city, state or even country, there are a few key questions that should be answered first. Ask your movers the following questions to ensure you receive the best service possible.

Once you receive your moving quote, ask if it includes a minimum. Some companiesrequire a minimum with each move. Sometimes this only applies to small apt moves, but ask anyway.

Ask about additional charges(i.e. fuel, tax etc).

Share your move time preference. Sometimes moving companies will give you a range of time to move within. Ask if that time is available.

Ask if there is a deposit required with booking the move.

Ask if they accept, check, cash or credit card for payment of deposit and movebalance.

Ask about their cancellation policy.

Ask them to put your move quote in writing and email it to you.

A reputable moving company will not mind your questions, but should be more than willing to assure you of its services and provide you with resources to assist with the successful completion of your move. Asking your movers questions that will help you make a wise decision about your upcoming relocation prior to booking your move is essential.
